In 1916, Irish revolutionary James Connolly, wounded, was tied to a chair in front of an English firing squad. The firing squad pulled their triggers, ending the life of a man who helped lead a rebellion earlier that year during which approximately 1,250 people stormed some of the most prominent buildings in Dublin.

Michael Kuzma’s war on secrecy has a new target – the CIA.
Kuzma, who has become known for a series of freedom of information suits against the FBI and other federal agencies, is now suing the Central Intelligence Agency.

Armed with a court decision lambasting his false arrest, antiwar activist Nate Buckley is taking the offensive.
Buckley, in a civil lawsuit, accuses the NFTA and two of its police officers of assault, false arrest and malicious prosecution stemming from his involvement in a 2011 protest outside one of M&T Bank’s downtown offices.
